In memory
Some are painted
from memory.
A memorial portrait, made from whatever photograph you still have. However old, however small, however blurred. We render them in the classical oil style, true to their character, and you see the finished portrait before anything is ever printed.

Her story
Kaya was my first dog. She has been gone more than fifteen years, and the only photographs I have of her are small and blurred, taken on an old phone in a garden that isn’t there anymore. For a long time that felt like all that was left of her. This portrait was painted from three of those pictures. Seeing her again, properly, is why we paint from memory at all: so that no one has to let the picture fade just because the photograph did.

01
Any photograph is enough
A single blurred phone snap from years ago is all we need. You never had to plan for this.
02
Rendered faithfully, in the oil tradition
We build the portrait around who they were, and you approve the finished piece before anything is printed.
03
Yours to keep
Printed on museum canvas, stretched by hand, and kept. A memorial, not a catalogue number.
When you’re ready, we’ll paint them.
There is no rush, and no wrong photograph. Whenever it feels right, begin — and you’ll see them again.
