It starts with the photograph you already love and ends with something hanging in your hallway. There is nothing to book, nobody to brief, and your pet never has to sit still for any of it.

How it’s made

Every portrait is created with AI, rendered in the style of a classical oil painting, then directed and refined by hand until it is unmistakably your pet. You see it and approve it before anything is printed. Only then is it printed on 400gsm museum canvas and stretched by hand in Britain. New tools, the same standard we started with: if we wouldn’t hang it in our own home, we do it again, at no cost to you.

You see the portrait before we ever print it. If it isn’t right, we do it again until it is.

In memory

For the ones
who are gone.

Some portraits are painted from memory. From any photograph you still have, however old or blurred, we render them in the classical oil style, faithfully. Kaya was our founder’s first dog, painted long after she was gone, and she is why the memorial exists.

Three sizes, drawn to scale

Every edition is the same commission on the same 400gsm museum canvas. The Portrait is the house standard; the only decision left is how much wall you want it to own. The canvases below are drawn at true relative scale.

Our story

It started with my own dog.

Cali is my dog, and she is the first portrait we ever painted. I never wanted a novelty print, the kind that ends up in a drawer. I wanted something I would actually hang. So we rendered her in the classical oil style and printed it on real canvas, and it came back better than I expected. That is where Inkpaw started.

Every commission since gets the same test: would I hang it in my own home. If the answer is no, we paint it again, at no cost to you. You see yours before it is ever printed, exactly as I saw Cali’s.
